Honda CB350, CB350RS, CB300R and CB300F motorcycles recalled due to wheel speed sensor issue

Honda has issued recall notice for several models including the CB350, CB350RS, CB300R and CB300F in India. The recall has been made to fix an issue with wheel speed sensor. This recall will affect the above mentioned bike models manufactured between October 2020 and April 2024.

The company stated that the issue with the wheel speed sensor causes water to seep into it causing an error, which could lead to inaccurate speed being displayed on the speedometer. This affects the traction control and ABS of the motorcycle as well, said the company.

Honda has also recalled some units of the CB350, H’ness CB350 and CB350RS bikes manufactured between June and July 2024 over a defective camshaft. According to the company, the manufacturing defect can affect engine performance.

The company will notify the affected motorcycle owners about the issue. The customers with the affected bikes can visit their nearest Honda service centre for a inspection and replacement of faulty parts for free of cost.
