Electric Tata Harrier might be launched in India before Petrol counterpart  

Tata Motors will be launching an electric variant of the Tata Harrier and this variant will be launching before the Petrol engine variant.

Tata Harrier facelift has been recently launched in India. Even though the SUV does get an upgrade, it is totally in the form of design and internal features. The engine on the Harrier is the same as the earlier version. According to the latest reports, Tata Motors will be launching an electric variant of the Tata Harrier and this variant will be launching before the Petrol engine variant.

The managing director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd, Shailesh Chandra had revealed about that the arrival of Petrol variant of Harrier will arrive in almost 1 year (or bit more). The 1.5L TGDi engine will be offered in the both the Curvv and Sierra SUVs along with Harrier and Safari. Currently, the Harrier and Safari get 2.0 L diesel engine. The electric version of the Tata Harrier is expected to be launched at some point in 2024.

The Harrier facelift’s overall design resembles the Harrier EV shown at Auto Expo 2023. The exterior of the Harrier facelift has been revised with a new grille and split headlight design, and a full-width LED light bar above the grille. It sports a new split front bumper that is divided by a gloss black band. The Harrier facelift sports a revised bumper, n tail-lamp housing, and new LED lighting elements.

It now rides on 18 or 19-inch alloy wheels. However, the 19-inch alloy wheels are only available with the Dark edition variants.

Tata Harrier facelift has been launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Harrier facelift features an updated exterior and interior design along with new features. The bookings of the SUV can be made at a token amount of Rs 25,000.
