Car launches in July 2022: SUV, sedan, and electric cars that get introduced this month

The first six months of 2022 have already passed and we are in the second half of the year. In this month, July 2022, we will have some important car launches including electric vehicle, SUV and sedan. The cars that are going to launch in July 2022 range from economy class to luxury class. Most of the car launches this month are that of non-Indian car manufacturers.

The list of cars that are expected to launch and unveiled this month have been mentioned below in detail.

Audi A8L

The German car manufacturer is all set to introduce its facelifted version of premium sedan A8L in India. The car is expected to launch on July 12. The bookings of the A8L have already started in the country from May. Interested buyers have to pay a token amount of Rs 10 lakh and book the car. The Audi A8L gets a bunch of updates including front design, redesigned alloy wheels and MIB 3 operating system for virtual cockpit.

Hyundai Tucson

2022 Hyundai Tucson is one of the upcoming SUVs to be launched this year in India this year. After being officially teased by the company, the 2022 Hyundai Tucson has been listed on the official Hyundai website. The launch is expected to take place on 13th July.  The SUV gets a new look as compared to the outgoing generation. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine.  We are quite sure that the SUV will be equipped with ADAS safety features which include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot detection, and lane departure warning.

Citroen C3

French car manufacturer Citroen is all set to launch its upcoming car- C3 in India on July 20. The Citroen C3 will be the second car from the manufacturer to launch in India. At present, the company offers Citroen C5 Aircross SUV in the country. The Citroen C3 will fit into the sub-4m category and compete with the likes of Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger etc.

The mini SUV already made its global debut in September 2021. The mini SUV will get a 1.2-litre petrol engine.

Volvo XC40 recharge

Swedish luxury vehicle manufacturer Volvo is all set to introduce its first electric vehicle- Volvo XC40 Recharge in India in July.

The Volvo XC40 Recharge will offer an estimated range of up to 418km/ 208miles with a full charge. The range should be enough for daily commuting or weekend trips. The company claims that the electric SUV can be fast charged from zero to 80 percent in around 40 minutes (with a 150kW DC fast charging). Otherwise the SUV can be easily charged at home or work with a regular charger. It will take around 8-10 hours to fully recharge it with an 11kW AC fast charging.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder

The much anticipated Toyota SUV- Urban Cruiser Hyryder has been unveiled in India on July 1. The SUV will be available across multiple powertrains and will be Hybrid version. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder is expected to launch in August. The bookings of the upcoming SUV have officially opened in India. Interested buyers can book the SUV at Toyota officially website or at dealership. The token amount for booking is Rs 25,000.
