BMW Z4 Roadster sedan has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 89.30 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with a single fully-loaded M40i variant with a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, new kidney designed grille. The company has showcased it in a very attractive metallic violet colour that is named as Thundernight Metalic. Apart from this, the colour option of Z4 M40i include Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Glacier Silver, Portimao Blue, San Francisco Red, Skyscraper Grey, and Frozen Grey.

The Z4 Roadster has a very sporty and stylish look with a classy soft top, long bonnet, and M aerodynamic package. The standard M Aerodynamic package optimises the aerodynamic properties of the vehicle and emphasises the dynamic presence of the roadster. The sedan flaunts a pointed fascia and a newly designed kidney grille in mesh design. It also features revised air intakes and runs on 19-inch M alloy wheels.
The Z4 roadster sports vertically aligned LED headlights with DRLs, L-shaped LED tail lights, and a rear spoiler. BMW has packed a new diffuser and tailpipes in the rear bumper.
The interior of the Z4 Roadster boasts includes an all-digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, 12-speaker Harman Kardon-sourced music system, dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lights, parking assist, wireless charger, and head-up display, parking assistance. Moreover, the sedan also gets M-specific treatment inside the cabin including M Sport seats, seat belts, multifunctional M leather steering wheel, and more.
The Z4 M40i is equipped with a 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox. This engine produces 340bhp and 500Nm of torque. The company claims it can reach from 0-100kmph in just 4.5 seconds. The performance aid features of the Z4 gets includes launch control, variable sport steering, driving modes, adaptive M suspensions, and M Sport-specific brakes and differential.
