BMW launches 2022 BMW X4 facelift in India at a starting price of Rs 70.50 lakh

German automobile manufacturer BMW has launched the facelift of BMW X4 in India. The new BMW X4 is offered in two variants in the Indian market. The BMW xDrive 30i M Sport Dark Shadow Edition costs Rs 70.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India). On the other hand, the BMW xDrive 30d M Sport Dark Shadow Edition costs Rs 72.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India).  Interested buyers can book the facelift BMW X4 by paying just Rs 50,000.

Engine

The 2022 BMW X4 facelift is powered by a 2.0-litre four–cylinder turbo-petrol engine that churns out a power of 252hp and a maximum torque of 350Nm. There is also a 3.0-litre six cylinder diesel engine that produces a power of 265hp and 620Nm. Both the 2.0 litre and 3.0 litre engines are paired with 8-speed automatic gearbox. The all-wheel drive system by BMW is offered as a standard. The BMW X4 has received a facelift for its global model in 2021.

Features

The interior features of the BMW X4 include a 12.35-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is an upgrade over its predecessor. The old BMW X4 offered a 10.25-inch infotainment system. The switchgear and AC vents are also updated in the new BMW X4. The digital instrument cluster is 12.3-inch while the surround sound system is Harman Kardon. The interior of the car include three-zone automatic climate control, hands-free parking, cruise control, adaptive suspension etc.

Exterior

The 2022 BMW X4 is derived from the X3 facelift and many style elements are similar on the outside. Some of the visible changes on the 2022 BMW X4 facelift are larger kidney grilles, new bumpers, slim LED headlights, and refreshed tail-lights. BMW is also offering a Black Shadow Edition which will have an all-black paint job. The mirrors, grille, exhaust pipe and wheels will also be painted in black.

Competitors

The 2022 BMW X4 facelift will compete with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe in the Indian market.
