All-New Jawa 42 FJ roadster motorcycle launched in India, Gets a price tag of Rs 1.99 lakh
Jawa has launched the all-new Jawa 42 FJ roadster motorcycle in India. The new Jawa 42 FJ roadster motorcycle stretches the 42 range in India and the total number of motorcycles now offered in the category is three. The other variants in the category are 42 and 42 Bobber.
The new Jawa 42 FJ motorcycle offers a great classic design that also blends a retro look. Some important highlights of the motorcycle are anodised, brushed aluminium fuel tank cladding, customisation and a wide range of paint options.
The motorcycle gets aluminium headlamp holder along with grab handles and aluminium footpegs. The fuel cap is off-set and it adds a different touch to the tank design. Other key design details include upswept exhaust system, circular LED headlamp, LED tail lamp as well as LED turn signals.
When it comes to the engine of the motorcycle, we get a 334cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder Alpha2 engine that produces maximum power of 29.2 PS and peak torque of 29.6 Nm. The engine is paired with a Six-speed transmission that is paired with a slipper/assist clutch as standard. The new Jawa 42 FJ motorcycle is built on a twin cradle frame that has a wheelbase of 1440mm. The ground clearance is 178 mm while the seat height is 790 mm. The fuel tank is 12 litres and weight is 184kg. In terms of braking, we get 320 mm front and 240 mm rear disc brakes. There is a dual-channel ABS system on offer while the suspension hardware consists of 41mm telescopic forks at the front and side shocks at the rear (with pre-load adjustability).
The price of the motorcycle starts at Rs 1.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.20 lakh.
