Honda has updated the Rebel 500 or CMX500 for 2025 globally. The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 rival has been updated with cosmetic and chassis upgrade. Honda has tweaked the bike in terms of looks, features, and comfort.
Honda has not made any changes in the overall silhouette. However, the bike is now available in a new Matt Dim Metallic Grey colour option for the standard and S variants of the bike. A Candy Energy Orange paint scheme has also been added exclusively for the S trim for 2025.
The motorcycle continues to feature the signature look with chunky tyres, and a short handlebar. Meanwhile, the fuel tank design has also been carried over it continuing to sit downward owards the rear and blending in with a scooped-out seat, that now has a new urethane foam material. The handlebar position has also been tweaked to enhance comfort. The rear suspension has also been tweaked to provide more optimised shock absorption. It has been fitted with a updated LCD screen that will offer more brightness.
It rides on 16-inch cast aluminium wheels that are suspended by telescopic forks and dual springs.
The powertrain option of the CMX500 Rebel remains same as the standard model. It continues to be powered by the same 471cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces around 46bhp and 43.3Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. Braking system includes a single disc at both ends with Nissin callipers and dual-channel ABS.
