Honda is gearing up to launch the next-generation Amaze compact sedan globally soon. Ahead of its official debut, the company has released the teaser image of the 2024 Honda Amaze.
Apart from the teaser image, the company did not reveal any other information about its debut including the dateline, design, features and others.
Seeing as Honda has already started to tease the new Amaze, the bookings for the new Amaze are expected to commence sometime next month before the reveal.
New Honda Amaze teaser
The teaser image has showcased the front profile of the Amaze to some extent. The car seems to have similar looks as the newer Honda models, like the Civic sold abroad. It features slimmer headlamps than the outgoing model. The company will continue to provide LED projector headlights for the higher variants. It also gets LED daytime running lights at the top of the headlamp unit that neatly merges into the grille.
The image also shows a wide chrome bar stretching from end to end atop the headlamp and the grille. It now features a new much larger hexagonal grille, which has a honeycomb pattern with a large Honda logo sitting bang in the centre. Moreover, it has large air dam recesses at each corner of the bumper.
New Honda Amaze
Prior to the launch, the new Amaze was spotted testing multiple times over the last few months. The spy shots have hinted at slab-sided looks with some modern design touches, such as a smoky finish for the tail-lamps.
The new Amaze will continue to be offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic. Moreover, it could also be available in a CNG-powered variants as well.
The new Honda Amaze compete with Hyundai Aura along with similarly priced compact SUVs and sub-compact models such as the Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter. It will also rival the all-new Dzire that will be launched on November 11. Honda has been pushing sales of the outgoing Amaze with discounts to the tune of Rs 1 lakh.
