2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 gets launched in India, Check engine specs, booking and price

If you are a Kawasaki fan or simply a sports bike enthusiast who is planning for your next sub 400cc bike you have something to get excited for. The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300, which the most affordable motorcycle by the company has been launched in India. Kawasaki has introduced the new model of Ninja 300 along with few updates. The 2022 version of Ninja is priced at Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Engine

The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is powered by the same 296cc parallel-twin, liquid cooled, 4-stroke, FI engine that was present on the previous version as well. The engine delivers a maximum power of 38.4bhp while the peak power torque is 27Nm. The engine gets a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper and assist clutch.

Features

Kawasaki Ninja 300 gets a dual-channel ABS for safety along with semi-digital instrument cluster. The twin headlamps of the earlier generation are retained on this edition too. When it comes to suspension, the Ninja 300 offers 37mm telescopic front forks while at the rear the bike gets a mono-shock absorber. The front brakes are 290 mm petal disc type while the rear disc is 220 mm petal disc. The other offers that will prove to be handy are raised handle bar, wider rear tyre, elegant design, super sports style aluminium foot pegs etc.

Dimension

The dimensions of the motorcycle are 2015 x 715 x 1110 (L x Wx H). The wheelbase of the bike is 1405 mm while the ground clearance is 140 mm. The seat height is 179 kg while the fuel capacity is 17 litres.

Colours and booking

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is available in three colour variants- Lime Green, Ebony, and Candy Lime Green. The bookings of the motorcycle have opened across dealerships across India.

Rivals

The entry-level sports bike from Kawasaki competes with the likes of KTM RC 390 and TVS Apache RR310. The RC 390 has also undergone some updates in the past. However, both the bike- RC 390 and RR 310 are single-cylinder bikes. On the other hand, the Ninja 300 has a parallel-twin engine which many users might find attractive.
