Bhubaneswar: The Excise Department allowed the home delivery of liquor by IMFL during the lockdown period and directed the district collectors to take appropriate decision considering the situation in respective districts.
According to reports, the home delivery of alcohol shall be done by liquor shops including OFF / ON/ CL / OS as well as by food aggregators shops during the ongoing lockdown period.
Earlier, the Excise Department had sought permission of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) for permitting the authorized liquor shop for home delivery during the lockdown period.
All godowns of the Odisha State Beverage Corporation Ltd (OSBC) shall operate for wholesale trade between 6 am to 2 pm.
