Sambalpur: A giant fish was recently sighted at Hirakud Dam in Odisha’s Sambalpur.
According to reports, a group of fishermen while fishing spotted a huge fish near new spill way at Hirakud Dam.
Later, the local fishermen estimated that the fish would be much more than 10 quintals.
Locals were left astounded with the rare sight of the huge fish.
On being informed, the fishery department will investigate such kind of species of fish do exist in this dam or has migrated from some other water source.
Seems to be like a Sturgeon fish but quite surprising if it really is and have made it to Hirakud
