Cuttack: Some armed miscreants looted gold from a couple in broad daylight in Sector 10 of Cuttack district in Odisha on Wednesday.
According to reports, the couple went for their morning walk when the miscreants came on a bike and snatched two gold chains, one locket and a pair of earring from them.
They also attacked the man with a sharped weapon due to which he sustained critical injuries. He has been admitted to a private hospital for medical treatment.
A case has been filed regarding the incident at CDA Phase-II Police Station. The cops have initiated a probe based on the complaint.
