EAM Sushma Swaraj hits back at Pakistan over Kulbhushan Row
While speaking at the Parliament today, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj used strong words to condemn the death sentence given to former Naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav by a military court in Pakistan.
“Charges against Kulbhushan Jadhav are “concocted”, “farcical”; There is no evidence of wrong-doing by him, said Swaraj.
“India will go all out to ensure justice to Kulbhushan. Even several eminent people in Pakistan have expressed doubts over Pak Army’s claims. Pakistan must think about the consequences in bilateral relations by such acts,” she added.
All leaders cutting across the party line, sought justice for Kulbhushan Jadhav and urged the government to take up the matter with Pakistan.
