Balasore: Tension ran high in Budagadia village under Khaira police limits in the district on Thursday after recovery of a badly mutilated body of a youth from a nullah.
The deceased has been identified as Lambu Hembram of Kelapadi village under Gobindpur police limits.
The incident came to light after some locals spotted the body floating in the nullah flowing under the Budagadia bridge this morning. They immediately called up police and intimated the incident.
The body of the deceased could be fished out from water after a joint effort of fire officials and police later in the day.
While the autopsy report in the case is awaited police said, possibility of a murder could not be ruled out as injury marks ranging from minor to grievous were found all over the body of the deceased.
