Bhubaneswar: Eminent social activist of Kasipur Sumani Jhodia received the Kadambini Sammana-2018 at a special function held at Rabindra Mandap here this evening. She was conferred with the prestigious award for her outstanding work in social sector.

Eminent poet A. J. Thomas, Deputy Country Representative for UN Women Nishtha Satyam, Bollywood actress and columnist Pooja Bedi, Sahitya Akademi’s Odia Advisory Board Convener Bijaya Nanda Singh and noted Odia novelist and columnist Bibhuti Pattnaik attended the event and handed the award to the recipient.
Among others founder of Kadambini and KISS & KIIT Achyuta Samanta and Kadambini editor Iti Samanta were among other distinguished guests who were present during the programme.
