Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police raided a dance bar at Kharavela Nagar in the capital city of Bhubaneswar late last night and rescued 10 girls.
Police also detained the bar manager and event manager in this connection.
A team of Kharavela Nagar police raided the bar as per an intelligent feedback that the bar was operating illegally in the heart of the city, sources said.
During the investigation, police found that the bar was operating without licence and had no permission to conduct musical event.
Police later sealed the dance bar and sent the 10 girls to a short-stay home.
