Plus II Exam: 145 students booked for cheating during Pol Sc. Exam in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As many as 145 students of Arts stream were caught for malpractice during the Political Science paper in the ongoing annual Plus II examinations. This was informed by Prabodh Kumar Panda, Deputy Exam Controller of Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE).

Panda informed that the squads formed by the CHSE to prevent malpractice conducted raids at different exam halls in Bhubaneswar, Berhampur and Baripada zones and caught the 145 students cheating. The students who were booked for malpractice included both regular and ex-regular students of Arts stream.

The number of students caught cheating yesterday was the highest since the day the annual Plus II exam began on March 6.

Notably, 2,33,978 students in the Arts stream are appearing the exam this year. As many as 96,175 Science students, 27,447 Commerce students are also writing the exams  which is being conducted by the CHSE in 1,104 centres across the state. The exam will continue till March 29.
