Bhubaneswar: Ollywood comedian Tatwa Prakash Satapathy better known as Papu Pom Pom filed an FIR with the Khandagiri Police under the Commissionerate Police on Monday after getting threat calls.
The Ollywood actor, in his complaint, alleged that he received threat calls on his phone from an unknown person pertaining to a land that he had purchased at Aiginia in Bhubaneswar in 2011.
“A man who calls himself as Jagabandhu Jena has been making threat calls repeatedly and obstructing construction work on a plot that I had bought at Aiginia in 2011. However, I don’t know that person or have any information about him. Therefore, I lodged a written complaint today seeking investigation into the matter,” said Papu, who is on a bail after being arrested last year in an alleged casting couch case.
Meanwhile, the Khandagiri police have initiated an investigation into the matter following the complaint lodged by the Ollywood star, who bagged the Best Comic Actor Award in the 8th Ruchi Odia Filmfare Award (OFA) yesterday.
