Odisha officers to be marked ‘GREEN’ & ‘RED’ over grievance redressal

Bhubaneswar: Odisha officers will be marked ‘GREEN’ & ‘RED’ over grievance redressal. This was informed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Wednesday.

Patnaik, while dedicating the ‘Social Media Grievance Cell’ and ‘Mobile App’ to the people for grievance redressal and management at the state Secretariat said that officers with better grievance redressal performance will be marked by the ‘Mobile App’ as ‘GREEN’ and the officers with below average performance as ‘RED’.

The Chief Minister also said that he would personally meet both ‘GREEN’ and ‘RED’ marked officers on a regular basis in the days ahead to monitor their performance and may suggestions.

According to Electronics & IT Minister Chandra Sarathi Behera, OCAC and IT Department have coordinated to develop the  ‘Social Media Grievance Cell’ and ‘Mobile App’. By using the grievance cell, state government can deliver the grievance handling mechanism in a better, quicker and reliable way.

All Collectors, SPs and Secretaries can now use it with the required user ID and password, said sources adding that there will be notification along with a timeline. CM can access on his dashboard if the grievance has been addressed within 24 hours or not.
