Narsingha alleges violation of protocol during swearing-in, skips At Home Party

Leader of Opposition Narasingha Mishra alleged violation of protocol during the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Ministers held at Raj Bhavan and did not attend the At Home Party as a mark of protest on Sunday.

“Though I was called to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Ministers at Raj Bhavan, I was neglected. I was given chair on the fourth row while the MPs, MLAs, and Ministers were chaired on the first three rows. By doing this the state government has dishonoured the post of the Leader of Opposition and it is a complete violation of protocol,” alleged Mishra.

The Leader of Opposition also claimed that he received minor injury on his head as there a scuffle like situation among the people after the conclusion of the oath-taking ceremony. Following which,  Mishra skipped the At Home Party post the ceremony as a mark of protest.
