Sambalpur: The dead body of a missing youth was found near a pond at Sunapali area under Dhanupali police limits in Sambalpur district on Sunday.
The deceased hails from Bhandaripokhari in Bhadrak. He was an employee of GAIL India Limited and had gone missing since Holi.
The body was spotted by a few locals who later informed the police. On receiving the information, Police reached the spot and seized the body.
While the reason behind the youth’s death is yet to be ascertained, the Police has launched an investigation into the matter.
