Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre on Tuesday forecast thunderstorm in as many as 14 districts in Odisha.
The districts include Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Balasore, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Khordha, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Mayurbhanj.
Thunderstorm accompanied by gusty surface wind and lightning likely to occur over these districts till 4.45 PM today, the Met Dept bulletin said.
The Met Department has also advised the people of these districts to take precautions during the adverse weather conditions and stay indoors.
