Bhubaneswar: The counter ticket sale for the upcoming Hockey World League (HWL) Final matches to be played at Kalinga Stadium begun on Wednesday.
One can get tickets for the mega Hockey tournament from counters opened at different places of the city.
The ticket counter has been opened near Gate No. 3 of Kalinga Stadium, Sports Emporium, Shop No-7, B-21 in Subham Market near Ram Mandir, B-21 near Bhabani Mall in Sahid Nagar, Arvind Market Complex, Damana, Go-Cool near Patia, Café Frespresso nest Big Bazar in Patia, Ganesh Mobile (Plot-6) in Sahid Nagar, ITPC in Sahid Nagar, Body Line in Kharvel Nagar, Sister Mobiles in Sahid Nagar, Sister Mobile in Bapuji Nagar, Umiz near Ram Madir and Tech Zone in Sahid Nagar .
Two types of tickets – Rs 50 for East Stand and Rs 250 for West Stand – have been made available for the 10-day mega event.
As per schedule, the league matches between the eight participating teams, clubbed in two groups, will take place from December 1 to 5. Each team will play three matches each during the league stage.
The opening match of the tournament will see Germany vs England on December 1, which will be followed by host India playing against Australia in the second match.
India will also take on England and Germany on December 2 and 4 respectively.
On the other hand, the Odisha government is on its toe and finding ways and means to conduct the mega sports event successfully.
