Justice Kalpesh S Jhaveri takes oath as Chief Justice of Orissa High Court

Cuttack: Justice Kalpesh Satyendra Jhaveri took oath as the Chief Justice of Orissa High Court this evening. Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal administered him the oath of office on the premises of the Court.

Jhaveri took oath as the 30th Chief Justice of Orissa High Court. The post of Chief Justice of the Court was lying vacant after Justice Vineet Saran was elevated as a Supreme Court judge recently.

Born on 1958, Justice Jhaveri had joined the bar in 1983 and was appointed as an additional judge of the Gujarat High Court in 2004. Later, he became a permanent judge in 2005. He was the judge of Rajasthan High Court since 2016.
