Bhubaneswar breaches 40 Degrees Celsius mark 1st time this Summer

Heatwave conditions prevailed across the state, as Bhubaneswar crossed the 40 degrees celsius temperature for the first time this summer. At 1:30 PM today, the capital city recorded 40 degrees C.

Malkangiri remained the hottest town in Odisha so far with 42.4 degrees Celsius. The information was given by Met Department Director Sarat Kumar Sahu.

Several parts of Western, South and Coastal Odisha have reported intense heatwave conditions, making things difficult for common people.
