Bhubaneswar: The Directorate of Teacher Education (DTE) and State Council of Education Research and Training on Monday postponed the CT/B.ED Entrance Examinations which was to be held from August 7th to August 14th.
In a notification, it has been mentioned that the entrance exams have been postponed to August 16 in view of the 24-hour strike called by the transport association in the state on Tuesday.
All other examinations will be conducted as per the schedule from August 16, said the notification.
The examination schedule was released on July 28 while the examinees had started collecting their admit cards from August 1.
Notably, the SAMS Odisha conducts the DTE and SCERT examinations for admissions into different teachers’ education courses such as D.El.Ed, B.Ed, B.P.Ed, B.H.Ed, M.Ed, and M.Phil (education) in the state.
