Kendrapara: The Kendrapara SDJM Court today sent Syed Usaman Ali alias Tito on a two-day remand of Kendrapara Town Police here, for his quizzing in connection with a murder case.
While taking up a plea of the Town Police soon after Tito’s production before the court by Odisha Crime Branch (CB), the SDJM granted his remand.
During his stay with Kendrapara Police, Tito would be interrogated in connection with engineer Debashish Sahoo murder case which took place in Chakada village in Kendrapara district on December 21, 2017. As per the complaint, the gangster had allegedly shot Sahoo dead after the later refused to pay him an extortion amount of Rs 10 lakh.
Notably, The Special Task Force (STF) of Crime Branch took the gangster on a four-day remand on July 25 and again on July 30.
On July 28, Kendrapara Police lodged as many as four murder cases against Tito including the Chakada murder case.
