Cuttack: An unidentified dead body has been found floating in the Mahanadi river at Jobra barrage on Saturday morning in Cuttack district of Odisha. The locals spotted the body floating in the river and immediately alerted the local police.
On getting the information, Jagatpur police along with local fire fighters arrived at the spot and recovered the body.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
A probe into this matter has been initiated by the police, further details are awaited.
