Cuttack: A 12-year-old boy was accidentally shot from the service revolver of a BSF jawan at High Court colony under the Badambadi police limits here on Saturday. He was rushed to a city based private hospital in a critical condition.
The injured teen has been identified as Anubhav Mohanty, son of Prabir Mohanty of Kamalpur area in the city. He has sustained bullet injury on his head.
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 12 noon, when Anubhav and his friend Piyush Patra were playing with the weapon of latter’s father Susant Patra, a BSF jawan.
A case has been registered at Badambadi police station in this connection.
