Bhubaneswar: Wife of a senior IPS officer along with her daughter entered into a verbal altercation with a woman Traffic police after the latter waylaid them this evening.
According to sources, Additional Director General (ADG) of Railways and Coastal Security Pranabindu Acharya’s wife and daughter were going in a car. They were asked by a lady Traffic cop to stop their vehicle at AG Square, following which a huge argument ensued between the Traffic police and the kin of Acharya.
Later, several senior police personnel rushed to the spot. Acharya also went to the site after getting information and brought the situation under control.
