Bhubaneswar: Results of the annual Plus Two Arts, Commerce and Vocational Education examinations 2018 in Odisha, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), has been announced on Saturday.
School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra announced the results at the CHSE headquarters office here at 10.30 AM.
The results can be checked on two websites – http://www.orissaresults.nic.in and http://www.chseodisha.nic.in.
“68.79 percent students have passed in Arts stream, while the pass percentage in Commerce stream is 74.91 per cent and 52.61 per cent in Vocational courses” said Patra, while announcing the results.
“In Arts, Puri district recorded highest pass percentage with 79.87 per cent, while Nabarangpur recorded lowest pass rate of 47.58 per cent in the state, the Minister added.
Abheepsa Mishra topped in Arts stream with 90.16 per cent marks, while Anish Patnaik and Sai Pravin Patnaik jointly secured top position in Commerce with 90.66 per cent.
As many as 2,33,978 students had appeared for the annual exam in Arts stream, while 27,447 examinees wrote the exam in Commerce stream this year. Besides, a total of 8,226 students appeared for the test in vocational education.
