Bhubaneswar: The local Meteorological center issued thunderstorm alert for 10 districts of the state on Sunday.
According to reports, the weatherman forecasted thunderstorm in four districts namely Khordha, Cuttack, Nayagarh and Puri districts till 7 PM today.
Likewise, Ganjam, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal, Gajapati and Kalahandi districts have been sounded thunderstorm alert till 8 PM.
People of these districts have been directed to take precautions during the adverse weather conditions and avoid going out as gusty surface wind speed reaching up to 50 to 60 kmph is likely to occur in these districts.
