Wishes pour in as ‘Sachin – The God of Cricket’ turns 44

As Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar turns 44 today, the social media sites were filled with wishes and messages for the Master Blaster. Though it has been close to four years since Sachin called it quits, his birthday was trending on Twitter with hashtag #HappyBirthdaySachin.

From Bollywood actors to politicians and teammates wishes poured in from all quarters for the legendary batsman.

“SHIV Sushant Rajput @itsSSR – Sachin out to nahin hua? The Question I was always obsessed with. Cricket is still synonymous with you. A Fan forever. #HappyBirthdaySachin,” tweeted actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Virender Sehwag, who is known for his hilarious take on issues, had a unique way of wishing the Master Blaster. In one among a series of tweets wishing Sachin, he wrote, “Sachin Tendulkar scored 49 Centuries in ODI and RCB got bowled out for 49 as birthday tribute for Sachin. #HappyBirthdaySachin #KKRvRCB”.
