Seoul: India’s ace shuttler PV Sindhu has avenged her World Championship final loss in Glasgow against Japanese Nozomi Okuhara with a stunning win over her at the Korean Super Series final.
Sindhu won 22-20, 11-21, 21-18 to win the title and clinch the Gold medal. Okuhara had to be content with a Silver.
While Sindhu won the first game in a closely fought battle, Okuhara made it one-sided in the second game. Sindhu bounced back to win the third and title. It was Sindhu’s 3rd Super Series title of her career.
