IPL 2017: Mumbai Indians beat KXIP, win 5 in a Row

The mighty Mumbai Indians have registered their fifth consecutive victory in a row to lead the points table with 10 points from 6 matches. They made a mockery of a big run chase by beating KXIP by 8 wickets with 27 balls to spare.

Kings XI Punjab had posted 198/4 in 20 overs. Hashim Amla had scored a brilliant century and remained unbeaten on 104 off 60 balls with 8 boundaries and 6 sixes. Glenn Maxwell scored 40 off 18 balls. McClenaghan took two wickets.

It was a big target, but Mumbai Indians made it look so simple. With the contributions from Parthiv 37, Jos Buttler 77 and Nitish Rana 62*, Mumbai Indians reached 199/2 in 15.3 overs. Jos Buttler was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’.
