Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway felicitated International Boxer Shri K. Shyam Kumar at Railway’s Headquarters here on Thursday.
East Coast Railway General Manager Umesh Singh felicitated K. Shyam Kumar who won Gold Medal in recently concluded Asian Games Invitation International Boxing Championship. The Boxing Championship was held in Indonesia between February 9 and 15.
East Coast Railway Sports Association (ECoRSA) President & Principal Chief Engineer Laxminarayan, General Secretary ECoRSA & Deputy General Manager Tatwadarsi Sahu, Joint General Secretary P.K. Mahapatra and Secretary to GM S. K. Purohit and others were present during the felicitation ceremony.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Shyam Kumar has also won Gold Medal in Ulhan Bothor Cup in November 2017 in Kazakhastan and Silver Medal at India Open International Boxing Tournament held in New Delhi from 28th January to 2nd February, 2018.
