New Delhi: The Rajya Sabha passed three important Bills on Thursday. The Bills were passed after completing their discussion, consideration and passage within three hours.
The Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Bill, 2018, National Sports University Bill and Homeopathy Central Council (Amendment) Bill are the three bills which the Upper House passed after it reassembled in the noon.
The Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Bill, 2018, was unanimously passed by voice vote.
However, the other two bills were passed amidst noisy protests by Congress demanding a joint parliamentary committee (JPC) probe into Rafale deal.
