Subarnapur: Tension ran high in Kusadadar village under Biramaharajpur police limits in the district on Sunday after some unidentified miscreants brutally murdered a youth and dumped his body near his house.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Jamudalia.
Some neighbours found Ramesh dead near his home this morning and called up police. The body was seen bleeding from nose and mouth pointing at the inhuman torture of the victim in the hands of the assailants before his death.
Police reached the spot and rushed the body for autopsy after seizing it later in the day.
An investigation is underway in the case.
