Boudh: A youth was allegedly hacked to death by his own friends at Mallikpada village under Baunsuni police limits in Boudh district in Odisha late last night.
The deceased has been identified as Saumitri Sahu of the village.
According to reports, Sahu and three of his friends had a feast in the village last night. He picked up an argument with one of his friends over a petty issue, and in a fit of rage he was attacked by an axe. He died on the spot.
Being informed by some local residents, police reached the spot and recovered Sahu’s body and sent it for autopsy.
All the accused were also nabbed by the police and forwarded to the court.
