Koraput: A young man and a woman were found dead at the railway track near Kusmi Station in the district in Odisha.
They are identified as the residents of Mundipadar village under Kotpad police limits in the district. However, the relationship between the deceased has not been established yet.
On being informed, Kotpad police and Government Railway Police (GRP) reached the spot and sent the bodies for autopsy.
It is unclear whether the deaths were due to a genuine run-over by the train, or whether, it was a case of suicide or murder, said a police official.
The Kotpad police began an investigation into the matter.
