Malkangiri : A tribal woman of Kadoguda village under Khairaput block in the district died as 108 ambulance service failed to reach her village due to lack of all-weather road connectivity on Wednesday.

According to reports, Jambati Kansari, 55, complained of chest pain this morning following which family members telephoned 108-ambulance service to take her to the Khairput Community Health Centre (CHC).

However, the ambulance could not reach the village and had to stop midway near Lamataguda village, about 4 km away from patient’s village due to deteriorated road condition.
