Visiting Korean students honoured at KISS

Dr Achyuta SamantaBhubaneswar: KITT and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta on Wednesday felicitated the students from Hanseo University in Korea.

Samanta presented a beautiful applique work and a flower bouquet to the visiting students at a special function in the KISS premises.

The Korean students have stayed in KISS hostels during their 10 day visit to the KISS, the world’s largest residential school for tribals.

The visiting students offered training to the tribal students on various skills such as fashion designing, martial arts etc. In addition, they also educated KISS students on how to conduct day-to-day activities with ease.

The foreign students also learnt about the various vocational training facilities being offered at KISS.

The students from Hanseo University visit KISS every year as part of a cultural exchange programme.
