Bhubaneswar: The local Meteorological Department predicted thunderstorm accompanied with gusty surface wind and lightning over eight districts of Odisha today.
“The latest Doppler weather radar and satellite imageries indicate that thunderstorm accompanied with gusty surface wind and lightning likely to occur over the districts of Jajpur, Deogarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj between 12.30 PM and 4.30 PM,” said a press release issued by the regional MeT office.
