‘Brahma Parivartan’ Fiasco: Suresh Mohapatra submits report to Temple Administration Puri: The much delayed report on the ‘Brahma Parivartan’ fiasco during the last Nabakalebar of the Trinity in 2015 was finally submitted to the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) by its former administrator Suresh Mohapatra on Saturday.

Mohapatra submitted the report prepared based on the basis of statements of servitors who were inside the temple during the occurrence of the event.

Speaking to reporters, the former temple administrator said that the report contains name of servitors who leaked the secret ‘Brahma Parivartan’ rituals and some suggestions to avoid reoccurrence of such incidents in future.

Deviation in the conduct of the time honoured sacred rituals during the Brahma Parivartan of the Trinity during the Nabakalebar in 2015 had led to severe resentment among the people. Some of the servitors had also posted photos of the sacred and top-secret rituals of rituals of ‘Brahma Parivartan’ of Lord Jagannath and his siblings.

Taking serious note of the incident, the state government had directed Mohapatra to submit a report after an investigation.
