Registration for admission into MBBS, BDS courses begins in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The online registration for admission into 1133 MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) seats and 150 BDS  (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) seats both in government and private medical colleges began from today and will continue till June 25.

The candidates, who have cleared NEET examination this year, can log into www.ojee.nic.in to do their online registration.

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) cell will publish the final list for first phase admission into medical courses on June 26.

The documents of the candidates will be verified at nodal centres between June 26 and 29 and the state level merit list will be released on the next day.

As part of NEET counseling, the choice filling and locking will be held on July 1 and 2. The first round provisional admission will be held between July 5 and 9 while the classes will begin from August 1.

The second round admission, in case of any vacancy, will be will held between July 27 and July 30. The merit list for this will be released on July 24 for which choice filling and locking will be held on the same day and next day.

Later, spot counseling, if the seats will remain vacant again, will be held from August 4 till 8.
