Bhubaneswar: The city-based regional Meteorological Centre on Sunday issued thunderstorm alert for 10 districts of the state.
Ganjam, Gajapati, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Nuapada and Bargarh are the ten districts in which the weather department sounded thunderstorm alert till 6.30 PM today.
In its press release, the MeT office said that the latest Doppler Weather Radar and satellite imageries indicate that thunderstorm accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching 50 to 60 kmph to occur over these districts.
