Bhubaneswar: Reiterating demands for land for the second campus of the university and retention of autonomous status for its +2 and +3 colleges, students of Rama Devi Women’s University intensified their agitation on Monday.

More than hundred students of the Women’s University locked the main gate of the University and sat in dharna to press their demands.

Besides, the students of the lone women university in the state blocked the main road in front of the University following which hundreds of vehicles were left stranded on the road between Vani Vihar and Master Canteen Square. They had a minor scuffle with the police when the latter tried to clear the road by dispersing them.
