While complete normalcy is yet to return in Bhadrak following the recent unrest erupted over offensive remarks against Hindu deities on social media, properties worth around Rs 30 lakh were gutted in a major fire that broke out in a lime godown at RM Market Complex in the town on Sunday morning.
Two fire brigades rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
Meanwhile, police have begun a preliminary investigation to find out the exact cause of the fire and to identify the miscreants involved in the mishap, if any.
