With Chief minister Naveen Patnaik by his side, Boudh MLA and senior BJD leader Pradip Amat, on Monday filed nomination for the post of Speaker of the Odisha Assembly. The election for the Speaker’s post is due tomorrow.
The former Finance Minister was named as the BJD candidate for the Assembly Speaker post after previous Speaker Niranjan Pujari resigned following his appointment as the Industries and Urban Development Minister.
