Bhubaneswar: Ollywood comedian Tatwa Prakash Satapathy better known as Papu Pom Pom, who was undergoing treatment at All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi for nearly two months, returned home here on Tuesday.
The actor was suffering from acute pancreatic problem. He was admitted to the ICU of the Gastroenterology department of the AIIMS on May 15.
“I was undergoing treatment at AIIMS in New Delhi for nearly two months as I had seriously fallen ill. I have been able to recover from my illness and return to my state because of your love and support as well as the grace of Lord Jagannath” Papu told in a video clip.

Notably, Papu fell sick while shooting for the upcoming Odia movie ‘4 Idiots’ in Thailand, following which he was rushed to the city for medical treatment.
On May 5, the actor was admitted to a private run hospital here, where he was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. The doctors advised his family to shift him to the AIIMS in New Delhi for better treatment.
